Sticks And Glass Unveils New Facility

Sticks and Glass have announced the opening of their new facilities in Leeds with a focus on high-end TV post production.
With Leeds becoming a regional hot spot for creative and TV production, and already being the heartland of rugby, the expansion brings a larger capacity for projects as well as providing future and local film makers with a state of the art full finishing house where they can complete their next production.
Whilst many in post production where
finding ways to work remotely to keep the industry moving, Sticks and
Glass were going that one step further and using the time to invest in
the expansion of their services. The new facilities include a Dolby
Atmos Dubbing Suite, Da Vinci Colour Room, MCR/Gallery and 5 Online
Suites as part of the upgrade, bringing clients the latest tools and a
greater flexibility for an immersive and more authentic experience to
tell their stories. “We can’t wait to see how our clients will utilise
the new facilities,” said co-owner Adam Bennett. “The upgrade creates
endless opportunities for us to support even more projects by providing
something that the growing market needs as it scales up. With the
recent news of
IMG joining Sticks & Glass up here in Leeds, the
region is certainly growing and we are definitely now in a position to
support that growth.”
Sticks and Glass sponsor the Leeds Youth Film Festival and INDIs film festival to support lowering of barriers to younger people by getting them into a professional environment. “The new facilities offer graduates a higher standard of studio in both picture and sound. We love to support local film makers by giving them access to our studios to enable them get to the next step of their careers and help make them more employable,” said co -owner Verdy Martin Oliver. “We think it’s a real missed opportunity when people studying are desperate to get their hands on high end, industry standard kit but don’t have access to industry facilities that are on their doorstep.”
