Rigging Team Appoints Technical Manager

Rigging Team has appointed Matthew Millward to the role of Technical Manager at their Stevenage headquarters.

With an extensive career spanning over 23 years’ working within the entertainment industry, Matt brings with him a huge amount of expertise.

Working with some of the industry’s leading rental providers and as key crew on a host of major international tours, Matt’s experience encompasses a diverse variety of roles from in-house technician through to touring Production Manager on large scale arena shows.

Having achieved a Major in Lighting Design at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in the late 90’s, an expansive career has armed Matt with an in-depth technical understanding over a broad range of production disciplines. With the last decade dedicated almost entirely to the rigging sector, predominantly as Rigging Sales Manager for AC Entertainment Technologies, he has worked closely with many UK and International clients to provide workable compliant lifting systems and safe systems of work.
